JOHN PARKER

John began developing his investment strategy in the mid 1980s. His early success in investing attracted interest from friends who wished to participate in his unique investment strategy. John began providing investment management services to clients for a discretionary fee in 1987 and became an SEC-registered* Advisor in 1999.

John is responsible for the overall management of the firm. His primary focus is on determining the investment strategy and the asset allocation for each account. He approves and monitors all trading activity. John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Yale University.

SHIJUN LIU

Shijun joined the firm in 2005 after having been John’s client for several years and seeing John’s investment strategy at work. Right from the start, John’s investment strategy made intuitive sense. An engineer by training, Shijun loves building things, fixing things, and finding new and creative ways to use the same things over and over again. Shijun has had an interest in the stock market since early childhood and sees investing in the markets as the best way to participate in innovation and the growth of successful companies around the world.

Shijun has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Stanford University. In addition, he is an active member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of San Francisco and is a CFA charterholder. Shijun is also a CFP® Board Certified Financial Planner and is an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of Silicon Valley. Furthermore, Shijun holds the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM®) designation from the CFA Institute. When he is not analyzing investments or helping answer clients’ financial planning questions, Shijun enjoys being active. He is an accomplished martial artist, and also enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, running, and skiing as well as playing pick-up basketball at the gym.
